Head Bartender

£10.50 to £12.50 per hour

Permanent, full or part time

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Bar Person to join our team based in Limpsfield, working within our lovely community owned pub. We offer competitive rates of pay, and fantastic tips.

The successful candidate will need to be experienced with a good sense of humour;  able to build relationships with our lovely customers, and be an asset to our fantastic team. A good understanding of cellar management is also essential.

Our current Bar Supervisor is leaving after 3+ years with us, having grown and been promoted several times since she joined us,  so it’s time to let her pursue her dream of working abroad.  Accommodation could be included for the right candidate.

Assistant Manager

£30,000 to 35,000 per annum

Permanent full time – 48 hours

More about this position

You’ll be at the heart of our management team helping to ensure the smooth running of our busy pub. You’ll be welcoming and looking after customers, helping to train and lead our lovely bar/waiting team, managing busy services and running special events.

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll also be involved in deciding what beers to have on tap, which gins and wines we serve.

Front of House – Waitering and Bar (permanent)

£9.50 to £11.50 per hour

Permanent – full or part time (we do not need any more seasonal staff)

All FOH staff must be 18+ as they will be working behind the bar too.

 

We are looking for experienced front of house team members to join our community owned pub. This position will involve you supporting the inhouse team in the restaurant, engaging with customers and serving food and drinks.

Duties will include:

  • Running food and drinks
  • Preparing drinks
  • Clearing and relaying tables
  • Using the till
  • General housekeeping and cleaning

About you:

  • Warm and friendly personality is ESSENTIAL as you will dealing with the public including young children and families
  • Prior experience in catering, preferably in restaurants, bar, or cafe
  • You will be dealing with a high volume of customers so fast pace and efficiency is a must
  • Be clean, tidy, and presentable

Commis Chef / Chef de Partie

£14.50 per hour

Permanent – full or part time

 

We are looking for an experienced CDP or Junior Chef for our busy community owned pub in the heart of Limpsfield.

The right candidate will have at least 1 years experience in a professional kitchen at commis chef level, have a thorough understanding of a professional kitchen and have a hard working mentality.

Roles and Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with the sous and head chef to ensure service runs smoothly
  • Preparation of foods for each days service
  • Preparation of meals to order
  • Maintaining a very high level of cleanliness at all times
  • Stock check and stock rotation
