As ever it’s been all go at The Bull inn over the last few weeks. We’re really looking forward to celebrating a restriction-free (fingers crossed) Festive season with all our customers. We’ve just published our festive menu and we have exciting news from the kitchen…
Goodbyes and Hellos in the kitchen!
We’re very sad that Charlie Cooper has left as our Chef De Partie, after 3 years of working and training with us. He will be really missed by all of us. Charlie is off to join Sankey’s in Tunbridge Wells. We are very proud of him and we wish him lots of luck. He will always be welcome back to our kitchen!
Graham Digweed, our Head Chef, has chosen to move into the hotel trade with the Café Royal in London after a three-month contract with us. We wish him luck with his new venture.
The exciting news is that Chris Miller, who has been working with Graham and Charlie over the last month, will be stepping into Graham’s shoes as of November 1st. Chris has 20 years’ experience working as a Head Chef in pubs, most recently in his own business.
We are very excited to launch his new menu in the first week of November.
New kitchen opening times
From November 1st, Lunch will be served from 12pm to 3pm and dinner from 5.30pm to 9pm, Thursday to Saturday. During December, we will also be opening for food at the same times on Wednesdays in December, from 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th.
Wednesday bar opening in November
In the run up to Christmas, From November 10th, we will be extending our opening hours to open for drinks only on Wednesdays – November 10th, 17th, 24th and Dec 1st. We look forward to seeing you all for a mid-week beer/vino over the festive season.
Festive Menu
Our fabulously Festive set menu for lunch and dinner will be available from December 1st to December 24th, Wednesdays to Saturdays. It has lots of delicious dishes to cater for all tastes and will be perfect for Christmas gatherings and dinners with friends and family.
During this time, we will also offer our Winter A La Carte Menu (to be released Nov 4th). So, if your group do not want the festive menu, you can choose from this instead. Same conditions apply as with the festive menu, however, pre orders will only be required for bookings of more than 10.
Reservations are essential.
Please email info@thebullinnlimpsfield.com or call 01883 713469 to reserve your table. A non-refundable deposit of £10.00 per person is required to secure your booking and we will need your pre order a week before your reservation date, including confirmation of any food intolerances.
Please note we will open as usual on Sundays with our Sunday Roast Menu.
Christmas Opening Times
Due to our ongoing staffing shortage, we will not be doing Christmas dinners on Christmas and Boxing Day but are looking forward to seeing you for drinks and complimentary canapes on Christmas Day until 2pm. Come along for some festive cheer while your turkeys are in the oven!

New Year’s Eve will be drinks only in the evening, but we will be dancing around the bar and restaurant, with our speakers coming out of the attic, and would love you to see in the new year with the team.

We are looking forward to you joining us for cosy festive outings with good company, great food and friendly service.
New Year Closure for a rest and deep clean!
We will be closed from January 1st until 16th so all of our team can spend some well-earned time with their family and friends for a week.
We will then carry out our annual maintenance and deep cleaning of the pub, kitchen and storage areas in the 2nd week, ready to open again the week commencing January 17th, 2022.
