Complete Closure of the Bull

No Takeaways from 23 March 2020

Dear Customers and Friends

It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to close the Bull completely from 23 March 2020 until further notice.

This follows the latest advice from the Prime Minister that pubs should close and individuals should not have social contact within 2 metres of one another in order to slow the spread of Covid-19.  The next two weeks are critical in slowing the spread of the virus and the health and safety of our team members is important to us.  It is difficult to prepare food safely, whilst adhering to the 2m rule as the kitchen is so small.  With this in mind, we can no longer offer a takeaway service.

A big thank you to the team who successfully made over 200 delicious roast dinners on Mother’s Day.  Sadly, this is the last day and although we want to continue to be an active part of the community, we will have to think about ways of doing this virtually. Please contact us on with ideas for how we can stay connected.

Thank you for your continued support, we will miss you and look forward to welcoming you back when it is allowable and safe to do so.

Please look after yourselves during these unchartered and unexpected times.
