This is an email that we have been desperate to write and share with you; our reopening plans, including some very exciting news!

People
We are thrilled to welcome Danielle Parish (Danny) who will be helping to steer the team to new dizzying heights, driving customer experience and improving operational performance. I am sure you will all receive a warm welcome from Danny, who is really keen to start meeting you all. Danny moved to Oxted in 1965 and attended Laverock and St Michaels, Limpsfield (before it was made into luxury apartments!), and she is now back after 10 years working abroad for investors of a luxury marina and waterfront residential development in Montenegro.

She is very excited to be back ‘playing’ in her familiar stomping ground.
The Bull’s kitchen team has been busy putting together new menus, remembering to keep some of The Bull’s favourites, many with a new twist, along with introducing other exciting things to try.
After months of home cooking, the menus seem rather mouth-wateringly, heavenly and will be posted on the website soon.
The New Courtyard
The team have been busy, designing a new courtyard area, using part of the car park. We wait with eager anticipation as slowly the area starts to take shape. The borders have had some attention and will soon be awash with seasonal colour. Ivy has been removed from the walls and the beautiful texture of the stone will soon be lit up by festoon lighting which will adorn the whole outside area. Sleepers and planters provide a colourful boundary for all to sit comfortably and enjoy the sunset.
We will still have two disabled parking spaces and a drop off point.

The Rules
The rule of six or two households will apply. This means that groups of six persons from different households, or any number of persons from up to two households, can sit together.
The Food
Friday 16 April – Sunday 18 April, food will be provided by the popular Vietvan street food vendor throughout the day and evening. Vietvan is street food of the highest quality and is a real crowd pleaser and enjoys a huge following locally (remember the queues at the Oxted Beer Festival). Friday 23 April – Sunday 25 April, our very own chef, James, will provide a Latino pop-up throughout the weekend. James lived in Brazil for many years, working for world-class restaurants learning and blending cooking styles. This is something we are all excited to try – delicioso!
The Bull Relaunch, from May Bank Holiday Weekend
Friday 30 April – Monday 3 May, our kitchen and front of house team will all be back working together to bring you a taster of our new menus including all the Bull’s favourites. You can enjoy this menu for three weekends leading up to our full reopening from Tuesday 18 May. Please book to experience a little bit of magic and to avoid disappointment.
Back for Good ‘Inside and Outside’ from Tuesday 18 May 2021 🤞🏽
From Tuesday 18 May 2021, we will be open as normal both indoors and outdoors from Tuesday-Sunday. The rule of 6 and 2 households will apply only to indoors. We cannot wait to welcome you indoors again and for the buzz to return. This is when our new à la carte menu will be introduced, full of delicious new dishes to try. Roll on the summer.
