May is the month of Bank Holidays, and we’ll be open for all of them, with BH Mondays open during Sunday hours.

Coronation Weekend

We’ll be flying the union flag, decked out in our bunting and dressed for the occasion, showing King Charles’s Coronation live in The Grain Store for anyone who wants to come and mark this momentous day with us.

We’ll be opening early from 11am on the Saturday 6th May, then usual Sunday Hours for 7th May and on Bank Holiday Monday 8th May – dubbed The Big Help Out – the official royal volunteering day – we’d love to give you, our loyal customers the opportunity to be the other side of the bar for a change and give us a hand!

Wednesday 3rd May – Quiz Night

Saturday 6th May – Coronation Celebrations – Live coverage in The Grain Store. Open from 11am.

Sunday 7th May – The Big Lunch – come and enjoy our local community vibe for a drink or lunch, hopefully out in the garden…

Monday 8th May – The Big Help Out – come and volunteer your services behind the bar! (please ask Caroline in advance)

Wednesday 24th May – Open Mic Night – come along and showcase your talents or just enjoy our Wednesday night jamming session and marvel at the confidence of those who are brave enough to get up and sing!

Bank Holiday Monday 29th May – Live Music! Come and enjoy a lazy afternoon listening to DeciBel from 2pm onwards.
